FOAMER LD-2
PRODUCT INFORMATION AND TECHNICAL DATA
Description:
Foamer LD-2 is an aqueous solution of anionic surfactants, builders and foam stabilizers
designed to perform in oilfield brines containing high levels of dissolved solids. Product
is used as an aid in gas well unloading and cleanouts. Foamer LD-2 is also useful as a
wetting agent for improving the pumping and injectability of brines. It exhibits good
tolerance to high levels of hydrocarbons and calcium salts.
Benefits:
- Biodegradable
- General purpose foamer
- Non-Emulsifying
- Can be used in saturated brine
- Can be used with hydrochloric acid
- Unloads water clogged wells
- Stimulates injection and producing wells
Application:
Foamer LD-2 is used at a concentration range of 1% to 5% by volume. Foamer LD-2
may be used to unload gas wells either by slugging, by using 1 to 5 gallons as required, or
by continuous treatment at a rate of 1 quart to 2 gallons per day depending on down-hole
conditions.
