    • Paraffin/Sludge Deposits - KX-100, KH-30
    • Viscosity Reduction - VR-10210-1
    • Drag Reduction - KDR-75
Application Techniques – Pigging for Paraffin/Sludge Deposits

    • There should be an initial treatment of K-line products with a solvent blend to penetrate and start to release and disperse the deposits in the pipeline
    • Once the initial treatments are completed, as an option a second pig can be utilized to coat the pipeline with KH-30 to prevent further build-up of paraffin/sludge deposits
    • Another option you can directly inject K-Line Products to the flow of oil to clean out sludge buildup.

Application Techniques – Viscosity Reduction via Continuous Injection

    • VR 10210-1 is used for continuous injection treatments which will lighten the load on the pumping operations and increase the production flow.
    • Continuous injections are usually initiated at high rates (500 to 1000 PPM) and then reduced to 100 to 500 PPM for maintenance.
Application Techniques – Drag Reduction via Continuous Injection

    • United Energy uses KDR-75 our drag reducer which can change the turbulent flow to a laminar flow to increase production flow via continuous injection.
